 veterans day

Today is Veterans day. It is a day of peace and memory of my buddies that never knew what hit them. May they rest in peace.

 Pakistanian Justice

Wouldn't it have been great if Al Gore would have stood up for America in the same manner the Supreme Court Justice of Pakistan is doing for his country. In a speech yesterday, he told the lawyers and others attending the rally, not to capitulate but to fight for democracy.

If only Al Gore would have done likewise, we would be 700billion ahead, 0ver 600,000 Iraqi lives, nearly 30,000 American soldiers killed or wounded, plus all that misery wrought on the children and family's in both countries. All he had to say was that he did not accept the appointment of the new President by the Supreme Court after he had won the popular vote in Florida.

Sources have it that Beto is working on Bush's pardon list. I understand he also has the power to issue secret pardons. Get ready, hear tell it will make absolve any person or persons, while working under the control or direction of any member of the executive branch, whom my have committed any act construed to be in violation of any statute or treaty therein, is hereby pardoned for any crimes arising therefrom;

Be it so ordered:

 Waterboarding

I don't understand? why doesn't the Senate have an actual water boarding demonstration at the hearing for Judge Mukasey and all of the world to observe. They can invite Alberto Gonzalez, or the recently resigned immunity worm from the CIA, or any former CIA, torturer, trigger happy Blackwater thug to play the role of the accused Arab.

Thereafter, they can pose the questions? Does the demonstration you just observed constitute torture? Any thoughts?
